The Chesham allotment community is a vibrant mix of people—families, singles, retirees, and even teenagers. Despite their diverse backgrounds, they’re united by a shared passion for:
- Growing high-quality, nutritious food
- Understanding and improving how it’s produced
- Supporting organic, eco-friendly practices
- Protecting the environment
- Tackling climate change
What we do
We offer a packed calendar of events from February to October, with activities nearly every week, including:
- Saturday coffee mornings and seed swaps throughout the summer
- Our Annual Open Day in August at the Cameron Road site, welcoming everyone as part of National Allotments Week
- Seasonal social events in spring, summer and autumn for allotment holders, their families and friends, held at the allotments or in the Town Hall, depending on the event
