DESCRIPTION:We’re still holding our annual ‘Spud in a Bucket’ competition. Whilst the potatoes don’t need to be socially distanced in their bucket\, all attendees will!  But don’t let that put you off. \nNormally\, we’d be setting out the tables and chairs and selling tea/coffee and cakes\, but this hasn’t happened so far in 2020 and the committee has decided against any catering on the day.  However\, we’re encouraging you to bring your own drinks and there will be plenty of suitable spaced out places to sit and enjoy a socially distanced social morning – and a chance to see how the potatoes have fared in their buckets this year! \nWe look forward to you joining us!

DESCRIPTION:We are looking forward to another year of great homemade cakes served with coffee and a beautiful view across the allotments and Chesham. Occasionally rainy and inclement but mostly stoically enjoyable\, Saturday mornings at the Focal Point are a great way to get to know other allotmenteers\, share tips and some times plants and produce. Anyone is welcome\, whether they have a plot or not. Why not arrange to meet friends there too? \nThe bonhomie is only made possible by the hard work of the volunteers. This year our new Allotment Café Coordinator is Averil Savage. Please show your support by volunteering for a morning in the Hut (not onerous\, especially now we have a working generator) or by making a cake or two.\nPlease contact Averil if you can help. \n
