September 28, 2022From Saturday 6 August, new prices will come into effect at the allotment cafe. There are several reasons for this, mainly being the increase in cost of ingredients.
Drinks and cakes will now be sold separately – they will no longer be sold together for £1.
Tea / coffee / cold drinks will be 50p per serving. Cakes will cost £1 per serving.
Please note that this is the first price rise in nearly five years and it does come with an added benefit… you can have a second cuppa for half the previous cost if you don’t want to have that second piece or cake. Plus, the feeling of guilt of two pieces of delicious homemade cake won’t be so overbearing! 🙂
